Varde Footballgolf is owned and managed by its foundes Ann Cecilie and Bent Bruun
We established Varde Footballgolf in 2007 with a large 18 hole golf course. During the first year our guests were welcomed by a marquee and a portable toilet as our only facilities.
Despite this, Varde Footballgolf’s first year was a huge success which led to the construction of the club house seating 100 guests with a covered terrace seating 60.
Continued success led to the need to create a second 18 hole course in 2011 and the construction of our pavilion which comfortably seats 40.
In 2012 we had the honour of hosting the World Championship in footballgolf, in which 14 different nations participated.
In the spring of 2012 we built the shooting simulator: Varde Skydesimulator www.vardeskydesimulator.dkin our club house in order to offer yet another fun activity and one that could be played all year and whatever the weather. This proved to be a great success and in 2013 we built another simulator meaning we have Denmark’s 2 biggest shooting simulators with a 34m2 and a 42m2 screen.
In 2017 we hosted yet another Footballgolf World Championship in collaboration with Filskov Fodboldgolf. This was also a huge success with many participants.
Our next project is the creation of a third 18 hole course. The grass has been sown is looking splendid. This will be open by the summer of 2018.
We look forward to another fun-filled season in the Danish countryside at Varde Fodboldgolf.
